Durhamites on Durham: They love it here (just ix-nay on the acrosse-lay, 'kay?)

The Durham Convention and Visitors' Bureau is well-known locally for promulgating statistics that tell us, well, what we (and others) think of the Bull City.



It's a role that the DCVB has been passionate about for years, an image-watcher role assumed in part, it seems, to the presumed need to counter the negative vibe about Durham within the region.

Even though the Old School reunion has been going on for 9 years we still got a chance to see people we haven't seen in years. Thank you all I had a ball. Not content to leave the mantle of "Best Places" surveys to the likes of Kiplinger's, Money, Fortune, Black Enterprise, Wired, Men's Health, Conde Nast, or Rankings Illustrated, US News has decided to expand their own top/best countdown portfolio to include "Best Places to Live."
